The Global Operations Controlling Team supports and guides the finance and operations teams of Red Bull subsidiaries and HQ regarding Cost of Sales related tasks.

The aim of this function is to provide guidance in monthly and yearly closings, planning cycles and relevant projects. It is also driving Controlling Excellence starting by ensuring optimal data quality, ending at creating valuable insights for Financial Planning, Reporting and Data Analysis. Here it is not only about plan vs. actual cost deviations, but to also understand the cost drivers behind. With effective communication about the current state and improvement opportunities should this position than be the driver of profitability.

In this cross-functional role you also take care about the Indirect Cost Controlling in HQ providing decision relevant figures to department heads.

RESPONSIBILITIES

All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:

MONTHLY & YEARLY CLOSING

  • Closely cooperate with finance teams of RB subsidiaries in order to ensure the correctness of the month-end closing data in our systems, especially regarding Cost of Sales and Inventories.
  • Monitor indirect costs.
  • Generate reports and drive analyses for MEC.
  • Support RB subsidiaries in terms of correct valuation of their inventories for Year-end Closing (standard price update).

PROJECT WORK

  • Participate in finance and operations-driven projects.
  • Get in touch with cross-functional topics.
  • Provide contribution from a controlling perspective.

PLANNING CYCLES

  • Support RB subsidiaries in Business planning and revised Forecasts to ensure technical correctness.
  • Analyse plan data and secure the content-related quality of data input.
  • Provide analysis in case of deviations.
  • Support Indirects Planning of HQ department.

PROCESSES & KNOWLEDGE

  • Keep documentations and guidelines updated and develop further.
  • Support internal finance trainings.
  • Push quality and increase efficiency in controlling function.
  • Contribute to process optimization.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 3-5 years of controlling experience
  • University degree in Business Administration/Finance
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent MS Office, particularly Excel knowledge
  • SAP BW BI Hyperion and visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) as a plus
  • High IT affinity and experience with SAP ERP
  • Very analytical mindset with distinct numeric skills
  • Result and performance oriented
  • Team player who is self-motivated, willing to learn, goal-directed and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal customers and cross-functional teams

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 2,208 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
