IN A NUTSHELL
In this role, you’ll oversee all phases of a production, from initial planning, budgeting, scheduling and contract negotiations to stakeholder management. You’ll ensure that all productions are executed and delivered smoothly, efficiently, safely, on time and within budget and report into the HOP on all financial and contractual matters
REPORTING
In this role you’ll produce a monthly executive summary report with our finance team to ensure accurate forecasting for your slate of development projects and greenlit productions. You’ll also collate all information from external and internal stakeholders in order to report to senior management. Moreover, you’ll be responsible for the project cashflow planning throughout the year and at year end.
INNOVATION
Another part of the role is to keep abreast of industry developments, changes in technology, tools, and partnerships, that could benefit us from a creative or financial point of view. You’ll support the development team in driving innovation and continuous improvement throughout the production and support the sourcing and development of a strong network of experienced production partners, vendors, and talent. SCHEDULING, BUDGETING & PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
In this role, you’ll conduct feasibility on treatments and scrub budgets with schedules, working with internal and external producers to drive efficiencies, and providing feedback to senior management on viability and risks. You’ll own a year-round production calendar - this includes collaborating with internal teams to run the day-to-day schedules as well as ensuring information on production and timelines is regularly updated and communicated.
Furthermore, you’ll build strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including post production, legal, content management, archive licensing, photography, equipment rental, insurance and music library.
DELIVERY
In addition, you’ll oversee and deliver sucessfully of premium content within the operational, legal and financial constraints whilst driving innovation and continuous improvement throughout the production lifecycle. You’ll be responsible for delivery und quality assurance and take care of Red Bull TV / platforms delivery and adaptations as needed.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- 5+ years of international experience working within the media production industry, across premium international series, formats, and feature documentaries
- Strong understanding of production, editorial and technical processes involved in the making of a range of programs across various genres
- Excellent financial and analytical skills and extensive experience in development and production budget creation, negotiation, tracking and management alongside a strong understanding of editorial ambition
- Proven ability to proactively find solutions to financial challenges, being a strong problem solver and tactful negotiator, with a good understanding of rights
- Motivated team player with a hands-on mentality, diplomatic, good organisational skills, adaptable and proactive

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2,208 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
