The International Key Account Manager Retail is responsible for the management of international key accounts and buying groups under the lead of a senior KAM with the objective to deliver accelerated growth and win share.

This will be done in line with Red Bull’s shopper centric Perfect Store concept, a strong focus on customer profitability management as well as in close collaboration with local teams in the countries. You will also play an active role in the further-development and implementation of the Red Bull sales strategy within the global retail channel.

MANAGEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL KEY ACCOUNTS

You'll be responsible for negotiating and coordinating international key accounts, retail buying groups and purchasing alliances as well as managing day-to-day business relationship with international customers and Red Bull countries where they operate in. You'll also be in charge of continuously leverage customer and shopper data to derive actionable insights.

SUPPORT CROSS FUNCTIONAL PROJECTS – PROFITABILITY AND REVENUE MGM

You'll support the roll-out and enhancement of Customer Profitability & Value chain analysis (concept & system) and act as a strong KAM sparring partner in country specific revenue management projects.

GLOBAL STRATEGY AND MARKET SUPPORT

You'll drive and deploy global channel and segment strategies with the market teams, facilitating workshops and best practice sharing sessions. Support the top 25 Red Bull countries in their planning process providing valuable input and feedback to their annual business plan will also be a part of your role. You'll provide hands-on support to selected countries when required to optimize the local management of key accounts (sales driver, profitability management).

CROSS DEPARTMENTAL COLLABORATION

You'll be in charge of leveraging key role within the international team by proactively sharing expertise/learnings/challenges as well as live and spread cross departmental thinking and collaboration within HQ and regions and build a strong network within the global key account community.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • Minimum 2 years of key account management – preferably within the FMCG context.
  • Active listener and excellent communicator/ facilitator/ presenter
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Front line retail negotiation experience and strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as strong team player
  • Innovative, solution-oriented mindset
  • IT literate, MS Excel, Power Point and Word skills
  • University Degree; Or Equivalent Professional Experience
  • Excellent command of English. Other languages advantageous, but not required
  • Travel 20-30%
