- Technischer Sales Support: Erarbeitung technischer Konzepte sowie Kostenabschätzungen und Angebotsvalidierung in enger Abstimmung mit Vertrieb und Kunden
- Entwicklung technischer Konzepte zusammen mit dem Systems Engineering, sowie die Anpassung von Konzepten an Kundenanforderungen und Regularien.
- Unterstützung des Produktmanagements im Hinblick auf Serialisierungspotential sowie Festlegung der strategischen Relevanz
- Teil des Projektteams in Entwicklungsprojekten – Vertretung der Anforderungen aus Applikation / Kundensicht (Requirement Management / Change Request Management)
- Breites Gesamtverständnis der PALFINGER Produkte und Module für optimale Konzeptentwicklungen

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define innovation priorities based on the product line strategy
- Manage and shape idea management and innovation processes within the product line and coordinate improvements of these processes
- Technology scouting (trend radar) and market observation regarding changes and future concepts
- Define design guidelines for all products within the product line in close cooperation with Product Marketing
- Align processes with CoE, other product lines and necessary functions within GPO as the contact person in terms of innovation and be the first to contact regarding Patents and IP

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support of and close cooperation with selected customers, partners and international Palfinger Marine entities
- Analysis of inquiries, preparation of quotations and technical and commercial clarifications
- Close cooperation with Palfinger internal departments, like Design, Application Engineering, Project Management, Production, After Sales and more
- Special focus on offshore wind business
- Further development and optimisation of Sales tools and processes
- Visit of international customers and exhibitions

- Identifizierung neuer Geschäftsmöglichkeiten und strategischer Partnerschaften in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Vertrieb und dem Global Product Manager
- Strategische und operative Steuerung militärischer Produkte über ihren gesamten Lebenszyklus hinweg, von der Entwicklung bis zum Markterfolg
- Analyse von Kundenbedürfnisse und Definition spezifischer Produktanforderungen unter Sicherstellung der technischen Machbarkeit und der Einhaltung militärischer Standards (z. B. MIL-STD, STANAG)
- Durchführung umfassender Wettbewerbs-, Markt- und Branchenanalysen, um Entscheidungsfindungen und strategische Positionierungen zu unterstützen
- Weiterentwicklung der Produktstrategie durch Erstellung skalierbarer Module und standardisierter Produkte auf Basis von Ausschreibungsumsetzungen
