- Ongoing or recently completed studies in a data-related field (e.g. Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration)
- Initial experience with data analysis, reporting, databases, or data preparation/cleaning
- Working knowledge of Excel (formulas, filters, pivot tables) and basic SQL (SELECT, WHERE, simple JOINs)
- General understanding of data structures, data quality concepts, and ideally first exposure to BI/visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Structured, accurate, and detail-oriented working style with a strong willingness to learn and take ownership of operational tasks
- Clear and professional communication skills in English (German and other languages beneficial)
- Service-oriented mindset, reliability in daily operations, and the ability to work well in a team and follow defined processes

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completed or ongoing studies in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a comparable IT-related education
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Experience with SQL
- Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python)
- Experience working with big data and a strong affinity for data are a plus
- Basic understanding of cloud environments (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure) is a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES
- University degree with focus on business administration or supply chain management
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding applications, such as SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI or other
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, structured thinker with analytical skills
- Studies or experience in Operations or Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Analytics
- Knowledge in tools for data wrangling, such as Snowflake, Trifacta, SQL or Coding Language is beneficial

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advanced undergraduate student, postgraduate student, or recent graduates (Bachelor’s / Master's degree) in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Familiarity with programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python)
- Basic understanding of cloud computing platforms (ideally AWS)
- Comfortable working with data having first experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker)
- Knowledge of SQL to query databases and data products
- Strong interest in data-driven decision making
- Affinity for media and automation is a big plus
- Ability and courage to challenge the status quo as well as the willingness to investigate new solutions and technologies

Main tasks:
- Support of the Marine Finance Team as well as the Marine Management Team
- Support data analytics (maintenance and ERP development initiatives)
- Actively driving measures and action plans for performance improvements
- Support of local finance managers for monthly, quarterly and year-end closings
- Support regional data consolidation from Excell and Power BI and story telling

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; an eye for design and visual presentation is an advantage.
