- Umsetzung von Neuprodukt- und Modulentwicklungsprojekten gemäß PALFINGER Development Process (PDP) in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem OPS-Projektmanagement
- Erstellung von Wertstromanalysen und -designs sowie Planung effizienter Produktionslayouts im Rahmen des Overall Plant Concepts
- Definition und Spezifikation von Anforderungen an Betriebsmittel und Vorrichtungen sowie Entwicklung von Montagekonzepten
- Test und Bewertung neuer Montagetechnologien sowie Durchführung von Gebrauchstauglichkeitsprüfungen
- Validierung von Produktionsprozessen und Sicherstellung hoher Produktivität sowie minimaler Montagefehler ab Serienstart

Aufgaben
- Du unterstützt unser Expertenteam bei der Industrialisierung unserer Injektoren für alternative Kraftstoffe. Hierbei begleitest du Versuche direkt an den Bearbeitungsmaschinen.
- Das aktive Mitarbeiten bei der Ermittlung, sowie bei der digitalen Auswertung und transparenten Darstellung von Fertigungsdaten zählt zu deinen Aufgaben.
- Als Teammitglied unterstützt du bei der Entwicklung und Optimierung von Fertigungsprozessen über den gesamten Wertstrom.

- Als vollwertiges Teammitglied tauchst du tief in die Fertigungssteuerung ein und hilfst uns, unsere Prozesse kontinuierlich zu optimieren.
- Du koordinierst und optimierst die Abläufe und stellst sicher, dass Material und Ressourcen genau dann zur Verfügung stehen, wenn sie gebraucht werden.
- In Wertstrom-Projekten spürst du Potenziale auf, gestaltest effiziente Prozessketten und setzt deine Ideen eigenverantwortlich in die Tat um.
- Du erstellst nicht nur wichtige Fertigungsdokumente wie Arbeitspläne, sondern analysierst auch Produktionskennzahlen. Deine Analysen sind die Basis für kluge Entscheidungen und messbare Verbesserungen.
- Du wirkst aktiv an der Sicherung unserer hohen Qualitätsstandards mit und übernimmst Verantwortung in der Koordination von Logistikprozessen – inklusive der Erstellung von Versand- und Zolldokumenten.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, develop and coach the Supply Quality Management team and coordinate regional SQM activities
- Select, qualify and develop suppliers in close collaboration with Purchasing
- Ensure robust quality standards through audits, inspections and defined quality assurance measures
- Manage supplier quality topics in projects, including prototypes, first samples and relocations
- Drive supplier-related complaint, corrective action and continuous improvement processes

- Lead material and sourcing activities to support New Product Implementation Programs (NPI), ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and manufacturing readiness targets.
- Define and drive program sourcing strategies and related sub‑projects for direct materials, equipment, and services in collaboration with Engineering, Supplier Engineering, Production.
- Perform cost analysis, volume planning, and supply‑risk assessments for assigned programs and suppliers.
- Drive cost engineering, cost reduction, and manufacturing ramp readiness from supplier onboarding to serial release.
- Partner closely with suppliers and Quality teams to resolve technical, quality, and manufacturability issues impacting cost, schedule, or scale-up readiness.
- Support commodity and technology-focused sourcing strategies, including market intelligence, supplier technology assessments, pricing trends, and long-term material availability.
- Define, document, and present program sourcing strategies to stakeholders and management, translating technical and commercial inputs into structured program updates (e.g. PowerPoint, program reviews).

- Lead the end-to-end development, scale-up, and commercialization of innovative polymer and resin systems for semiconductor equipment using additive manufacturing.
- Design, formulate, and experimentally develop novel organic and polymeric materials (e.g., UV-curable resins) for additive manufacturing (AM) technologies such as DLP, SLA, SLS, and MJP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to select toll manufacturers and manage the transition of chemical formulations from bench scale to pilot and full-scale industrial production, including development of quality control plans.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the selection of AM materials, processes, and vendors for sourcing polymer and ceramic parts used in the semiconductor industry.
- Demonstrate strong technical leadership and problem-solving capabilities by defining problems, establishing objectives, assessing risks, developing technical approaches, analyzing results, and delivering actionable recommendations.
- Partner closely with legal teams to generate and oversee the AM intellectual property (IP) portfolio.
- Act as the primary advocate and technical leader for AM adoption across the WETS organization.
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop AM “recipes” that transition parts from design through production.
- Develop, release, and maintain AM process and material specifications to ensure product quality, build qualification, and acceptance criteria.
- Provide high-level technical training and mentorship to product engineers and junior scientists in polymer chemistry and additive manufacturing technologies.
