Your responsibilities
- Leading the global quality management department and define and execute global quality strategies with gatekeeping mechanisms at every lifecycle stage
- Ensuring an effective, efficient, transparent and independent Group-wide quality management organization that is aligned with market and customer requirements
- Drive the standardization and improvement of quality standards, methods, processes, KPIs, and tools, promoting a quality-driven culture and ensuring key competencies
- Drive the expansion and ongoing enhancement of the integrated Global Palfinger Management System (GPMS), overseeing external certifications (e.g. ISO 9001) as well as global Q/HSE audit activities
- Manage risks through quality gates at each stage, proactively monitor customer feedback, address issues early to prevent defects, and lead product and process quality enhancements throughout the product lifecycle

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, optimize and lead the implementation of processes in systems to support current and future business models, ensuring they are effectively integrated into operations
- Create and maintain process documentation in our global PALFINGER management system, ensuring alignment and compliance across global entities
- Collaborate with Process Managers & Experts in defining strategies and conducting trend analyses on further enhancing our process landscape
- Build a strong network of local process experts through training and workshops, acting as a key knowledge resource globally
- Lead change requests and support testing and training of changes to ensure process readiness during global quality management system rollouts

- Troubleshoot new or existing product problems, involving designs, materials, or processes.
- Designs, develops, and implements safe and cost-effective complex equipment and methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing.
- Define process and methods for high volume manufacturing which includes operations method sheet, routing, and sequencing.
- Perform virtual build and create sequence of assembly.
- Perform root cause investigation and recommend corrective action for operational problems, such as material use variances, bottlenecks, fixture issues during build or manufacturing process.
- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes or resolve problems and follow through resolution to reduce costs, improve product quality, and cycle time.
- Reviews and develops designs that improve product manufacturability and assembly.
- Coordinate new product builds in pilot production manufacturing partnering closely with manufacturing and product engineers.
- Create and release engineering drawings & bill of materials (BOM) using Engineering Change Management process.
- Development of handoff package to allow product transition to high volume manufacturing.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collection, derivation, challenge of business requirements and cross-functional alignment of those with involved stakeholders
- Conceptual design of IT system landscape, detailed documentation of requirements as well as handing them over to IT department of the Organization
- Design of PLM system implementation road map to ensure stakeholder commitment
- PLM system implementation in form of pilot projects, proof of concepts, etc., while ensuring smoothly running daily business
- Support the integration of new group entities into the existing PLM system landscape
- Key point of contact within Engineering in regarding the implementation of new software solutions
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders across functions, as well as across all organizational levels & with external vendors and consultants

Manage the global spare parts sales order process in coordination with the global service team and the regional spare parts teams -
Develop and support the regional parts teams in parts pricing and discounts and tools (Excel & SAP) on a global level -
Using your SAP knowledge, you will shape the process and support SAP rollouts -
You will write process flows and training documents and be able to train people -
Manage the master data for sales orders, pricing/discounts, and spare parts reports

- Support product development by applying quality tools, managing deviations, and focusing on strategic quality management initiatives
- Contribute to strategic direction and participate in release decisions in the Marine development process
- Define, optimize, and implement global quality, health, safety, and environmental management processes, while managing the Q-Circle
- Apply advanced quality management tools to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with standards throughout the Product Development Process (PDP) and product lifecycle
- Conduct training sessions to increase awareness and provide technical support for improving the claim management process
