Your Responsibilities
- Define and optimize the global supply network strategy
- Develop global inventory policies and while ensuring required service levels
- As key contributor to the monthly S&OP process, translate the consensus demand plan into medium- and long-term supply strategies that balance capacity, materials, and logistics constraints. Lead the regional supply and global supply review meetings
- Monitor global capacity utilization and production allocation, escalating and resolving major constraints or structural imbalances
- Lead cross-functional alignment with Finance, Sales, Operations and regional supply teams, presenting supply scenarios and recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive global supply planning process improvements and digital transformation to enhance end-to-end visibility and decision-making
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that standardize and simplify the global supply chain, improving performance and resilience

What can we expect?
- A degree in business administration, logistics or comparable fields of science with initial professional experience in the automotive industry in an operational stock management role (or comparable).
- Alternatively, you have completed your vocational training and have at least 5 years of professional experience in an operational stock management role (or comparable).
- Experience with the BMW Group ordering system IVS-R will be a plus.
- Familiarity with BMW Group Products and Processes and confidence to handle and communicate with various Interface partners, e.g. with specialist departments, central functions and 3rd party providers.
- The ability to accurately track inventory and run predefined reports.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Personal initiative and 100% reliability.
- Team spirit and intercultural skills.
- Fluent in business English

YOUR TASKS:
- Develop the global strategy for processes and data in collaboration with the Senior Process Manager for the focus areas Supply Planning and Inventory management
- Ensure standardized data collection, data handling and system entry to allow for a focus on decision making
- Ensure knowledge build up and sharing across regions & sites (e.g., concept behind safety/cycle stock, inventory drivers, constrained vs. unconstrained demand)
- Design and maintain standardized inventory monitoring and escalation governance
- Lead process modeling, documentation, and training of local experts during rollouts
