Your Responsibilities:
- Provide disciplinary leadership and development for a team of technical experts, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
- Oversee the implementation and global rollout of a company-wide PLM solution, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder requirements.
- Coordinate the integration of PLM, working closely with the Process and Data Organization (PDO).
- Lead process optimization initiatives across departments, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions.
- Manage external service providers, including contract governance, performance monitoring, and budget control.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure data quality in engineering for the AWP product line, including SAP data checks, approvals, and data cleansing
- Collaborate within the Palfinger Process and Data Organization (PDO) to test and roll out new processes, software, and updates (SAP, SIGNAVIO, etc.)
- Provide 1st-level SAP support and act as the global point of contact for the AWP development department
- Organize and deliver training sessions on SAP engineering guidelines in German and English
- Create and maintain standardized engineering guidelines and documentation in both languages

- Transformation from hardware-based development to Virtual Development is key for the future success of the Loader Crane globally.
- This function here is to consolidate, to strengthen and to synergize the virtual based forces in Loader Crane, globally.
- Beside this, framing and leading of the architecture build-up in close collaboration with other RuD functions will be part of the responsibility, globally as well as serving for all sub-productlines.
- All tasks of this function are seen matrixed into prePDP, PDP and other projects with product accountability

- Is the lead engineer of a development program (product), making sure that mechanical and electrical hardware and the tool software work together to meet the system specification
- Owns developing the system specification based on the product specification and configuration options
- Is accountable for resolving design tradeoffs/conflicts to ensure the design is integrated, such that the overall product performs as described in the system specification
- Assures that the system meets engineering- and compliance standards (e.g. SEMI S2 compliance), especially in the concept and detailed design phases
- Owns system level safety concept
- Owns BOM (bill of material) architecture
- Prepares all required program/product related Engineering deliverables (e.g. FMEA, technical specifications, risk analyses, Theory of operation)
- Technical responsible that all interfaces for the entire product are well defined and working
- Participates in the cost allocation model and assures that designs meet the cost targets
- Owns the reliability design approach and the design validation plan

Your responsibilities:
- Shape and drive the global product strategy in close collaboration with the Head of Product Management.
- Regularly assess and review the international product portfolio, define necessary actions, and support long-term portfolio planning.
- Capture and translate customer needs into product requirements and, with input from the regional product managers, develop clear and impactful product roadmaps.
- Manage development projects (including PRE-PDP), lead cross-functional core teams, and ensure successful execution.
- Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies with a strong focus on technical differentiation and competitive advantage.
