- Responsible for the coordination of the electrical engineering discipline group for R&D projects on davits in the marine industry.
- Technical support of electrical discipline engineers, optimizing technical department processes, considering customer requirements, and international standards and regulations.
- Establish standards for main design processes and support the development of electrical systems, ensuring the implementation of system requirements derived from applicable standards and regulations, such as functional safety.
- Support the development of cost efficient and modularized subsystems, in cooperation with the responsible partners.
- Cooperate with the electrical discipline engineers to ensure assigned projects meet customer and company’s objectives.

- ​Owns developing the system specification based on the product specification and configuration options
- ​Is accountable for resolving design tradeoffs/conflicts to ensure the design is integrated, such that the overall product performs as described in the system specification
- ​Assures that the system meets engineering- and compliance standards (e.g. SEMI S2 compliance), especially in the concept and detailed design phases
- ​Owns system level safety concept
- ​Owns BOM (bill of material) architecture
- ​Prepares all required program/product related Engineering deliverables (e.g. FMEA, technical specifications, risk analyses, Theory of operation)
