YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive portfolio development by initiating product development projects and business cases for different industry applications.
- Gather, evaluate and prioritize product requirements and unique selling propositions (USPs) from EMEA markets.
- Conduct structured competitive and market analyses to identify trends, opportunities and gaps in our product offering.
- Collaborate closely with Product Line Management, Product Application Management, Sales Training and Product Marketing on product launches and discontinuations.
- Support the EMEA sales teams with application and market know-how to win new business and further develop existing customers.
- Build up new and strengthen existing business relations to lead customers and installation partners.

- Act as interface between Engineering/R&D, Sales and Production and translate customer needs into technical specifications
- Support projects from inquiry to implementation and assist in preparing technical proposals and quotations
- Create and maintain relevant technical documentation for projects and internal handovers
- Provide technical support and act as point of contact for customers

- Technical consulting and support of our industrial customers in solving application‑related challenges as well as during the introduction of new products
- Production‑technology support of ongoing customer projects
- Close cooperation with Sales as a technical sparring partner
- Development and optimization of application recipes for our products
- Planning, organization and execution of customer workshops and trade fairs in cooperation with Sales and Product Management
- Performing tests as well as sample and pilot productions in our application technology center
- Transfer of product know‑how and application expertise to other sales areas/markets (know‑how transfer, cross‑selling)

- Lead the end-to-end development, scale-up, and commercialization of innovative polymer and resin systems for semiconductor equipment using additive manufacturing.
- Design, formulate, and experimentally develop novel organic and polymeric materials (e.g., UV-curable resins) for additive manufacturing (AM) technologies such as DLP, SLA, SLS, and MJP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to select toll manufacturers and manage the transition of chemical formulations from bench scale to pilot and full-scale industrial production, including development of quality control plans.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the selection of AM materials, processes, and vendors for sourcing polymer and ceramic parts used in the semiconductor industry.
- Demonstrate strong technical leadership and problem-solving capabilities by defining problems, establishing objectives, assessing risks, developing technical approaches, analyzing results, and delivering actionable recommendations.
- Partner closely with legal teams to generate and oversee the AM intellectual property (IP) portfolio.
- Act as the primary advocate and technical leader for AM adoption across the WETS organization.
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop AM “recipes” that transition parts from design through production.
- Develop, release, and maintain AM process and material specifications to ensure product quality, build qualification, and acceptance criteria.
- Provide high-level technical training and mentorship to product engineers and junior scientists in polymer chemistry and additive manufacturing technologies.
