Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination of the hydraulic engineering discipline group for R&D projects on davits in the marine industry.
- Technical support of hydraulic discipline engineers, optimizing technical department processes, considering customer requirements, and international standards and regulations.
- Set up standards for main hydraulic system design and support their development, ensuring compliance with system requirements derived from relevant standards and regulations, such as functional safety.
- Support the development of cost efficient and modularized subsystems, in cooperation with the responsible partners.
- Cooperate with the hydraulic discipline engineers to ensure assigned projects meet customer and company’s objectives.

- Analyze financial and operational performance of Marine After Sales/Service hubs and identify improvement opportunities.
- Act as a strategic partner to functional managers, supporting business development and decision-making.
- Develop and implement controlling standards and ensure consistency across all hubs.Coordinate key financial processes (budgeting, forecasting, target setting) and ensure timely reporting.
- Drive performance improvement initiatives through actionable plans in collaboration with Service and After Sales teams.

- Further development and optimisation of Sales tools and processes

Your Responsibilities
- Manage Documentation: Create, collect, and maintain technical datasheets, drawings, and manuals; ensure proper upload to internal databases.
- Support Sales & Projects: Analyze customer requirements and provide documentation support across departments.
- Coordinate Certification: Maintain and renew product type approvals; apply for new certifications for upcoming products.
- Act as Key Contact: Liaise with Notified Bodies, Class Societies, and Authorities for certification processes.
- Ensure Compliance: Monitor regulations and standards (IMO SOLAS, ISO, DNV, Marine Equipment Directive) and share expertise internally.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the main contact for retrofit and modification requests from customers, dealers and service partners
- Translate customer needs into clear technical solutions in close cooperation with design teams
- Develop and prepare retrofit and modification offers, including service kits
- Manage projects from initial inquiry through successful completion
- Build in-depth knowledge of PALFINGER marine and wind cranes to create effective solutions

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee after-sales projects from initiation through to successful handover
- Serve as primary point of contact for technical and contractual topics
- Ensure compliance with agreements and manage related documentation
- Support NCR processes and coordinate with service branches for project execution
- Maintain and update project data using internal tools (e.g., PALdesk)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the harmonization of procurement- and material-related data across different ERP systems (SAP, Infor LN, Microsoft Axapta)
- Assist in identifying consolidation and volume-bundling opportunities across Marine & Wind Cranes, Marine Handling Solutions, and Boats & Davits
- Prepare and analyze spending patterns to enable material and supply chain optimization
- Support cost‑saving and design‑to‑cost projects by analyzing BOM (Bill of Materials) and preparing cost overviews. You will closely collaborate with the lead buyers and other project team members
- Support in creating project documentation such as presentations, templates, dashboards, and reporting materials

- Provide first-level technical support to end customers and service partners
