The Teamlead Brand Design & Merchandising is responsible for developing and executing brand design and merchandising strategies and initiatives that elevate brand identity, enhance customer engagement, and drive revenue growth. You ensure the correct and compelling implementation of the Design Guidelines throughout all applications and act as the governance and quality gate. You ensure training, understanding, and usage of the Design Guidelines within the PALFINGER organization and with 3rd parties. You play the leading role in maintaining a consistent and impactful brand presence on Brand Identity and Merchandising. This global role requires a blend of creative vision, strategic thinking, and operational excellence to ensure consistency in brand aesthetics across all merchandising lines, building and partner branding and marketing materials. Together with your team, you develop the merchandising collection into a revenue driver and shape the brand passion across our target groups. You enjoy collaborating cross-functionally and with our local hub teams to create compelling brand experiences.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints, and further enhance tools, templates, and application visualizations for global execution
- Provide consulting, governance, and quality control for the design guidelines and their application across PALFINGER functions and local Marketing & Communication Hubs
- Develop merchandising strategies to drive sales and enhance the brand experience in retail and e-commerce channels, ensuring high-end and innovative merchandising collections
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the Brand Design and Merchandising team, providing guidance, feedback, and support to help them achieve goals and grow professionally, fostering passion, collaboration, and openness to change
- Oversee the implementation of design and merchandising strategies and guidelines within the global marketing and communication organization as well as across other PALFINGER functions
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, design, business administration, or a related field
- Proven experience (7+ years) in brand, design, or merchandising with a track record of developing and implementing successful strategies and guidelines in a similar role
- Experience managing external vendors, agencies, and production partners
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving a brand by implementing engaging and state-of-the-art designs and/or merchandising collections
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement is EUR 59.766,98 based on full-time employment. According to experience and qualification, we offer a market-conforming overpayment.
