- Lead the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of standardized operational processes, policies, work instructions, and control methods across key business functions.
- Identify, prioritize, and execute high-impact continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, DMAIC, and value stream mapping methodologies.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement across the Salzburg site by driving measurable gains in quality, cycle time, productivity, and cost.
- Partner with engineering and operations teams to embed Design for Quality (DFQ), Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMA), and process discipline into product development and new product introduction (NPI) activities.
- Drive the development and standardization of engineering and operational review practices, including stage-gate rigor, process controls, tolerance analysis, and verification approaches where applicable.
- Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts to address systemic process issues, eliminate waste, and improve overall business performance.
- Establish and strengthen structured change management practices to ensure process and design changes are evaluated, communicated, and implemented effectively.

- Lead, develop and coach the Supply Quality Management team and coordinate regional SQM activities
- Select, qualify and develop suppliers in close collaboration with Purchasing
- Ensure robust quality standards through audits, inspections and defined quality assurance measures
- Manage supplier quality topics in projects, including prototypes, first samples and relocations
- Drive supplier-related complaint, corrective action and continuous improvement processes

- Lead material and sourcing activities to support New Product Implementation Programs (NPI), ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and manufacturing readiness targets.
- Define and drive program sourcing strategies and related sub‑projects for direct materials, equipment, and services in collaboration with Engineering, Supplier Engineering, Production.
- Perform cost analysis, volume planning, and supply‑risk assessments for assigned programs and suppliers.
- Drive cost engineering, cost reduction, and manufacturing ramp readiness from supplier onboarding to serial release.
- Partner closely with suppliers and Quality teams to resolve technical, quality, and manufacturability issues impacting cost, schedule, or scale-up readiness.
- Support commodity and technology-focused sourcing strategies, including market intelligence, supplier technology assessments, pricing trends, and long-term material availability.
- Define, document, and present program sourcing strategies to stakeholders and management, translating technical and commercial inputs into structured program updates (e.g. PowerPoint, program reviews).
