RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or possess equivalent work experience)
- Professional experience in the field of system architecture or similar role
- Familiarity with multiple software development platforms (e.g. Github)
- Display outstanding problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills and embrace a proactive attitude towards quickly acquiring proficiency in new technologies
- Strong and effective communication skills in English, German is a plus
- Cross-cultural and cross-functional working experience

Die Rolle
- 4 years’ experience working as a software or data engineer
- Ability to design & build both maintainable as well as reliable Python code.
- English fluency
- Abillity to design and implement of complex SQL queries
- Experience building data processing pipelines in Python (Apache Airflow).
- Experience with test driven development & writing well tested software applications.
- Experience with big data solutions offered by major cloud providers (esp. Google Cloud).
- Experience with building critical software components with high uptime guarantees is a plus
- Experience with Apache Kafka or related stream processing frameworks is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- 3+ years’ work experience in Sustainability and/or in the Business Intelligence area with project involvement
- Experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting Systems, ideally SAP ERP-S4, SAP BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau or any other BI solutions
- University degree in Sustainability, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Business Informatics, IT or similar
- Up-to-date on sustainability regulations and developments/innovations
- Data-driven, data-enabling and solution-oriented person with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical concepts/data models and document processes
- Ability to work across multiple teams in a large organisation, align goals and drive overall success independent of organisational boundaries
- Professional communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment on different projects in parallel
- Passionate about sustainability, environmental protection and social initiatives and feel motivated in your work as a result
- Fluent in English, German is a plus

- Entwicklung und Konzeption von Digitalprodukten für den internationalen Einsatz
- Eigenständige Umsetzung von Modulen sowohl im Backend als auch im Frontend
