Your Responsibilities:
- Define, continuously refine, and execute PALFINGER’s AI strategy across all three pillars
- Act as the central engine, facilitator and orchestrator of all AI activities across functions and regions with clear interfaces to all major stakeholder and functional AI champions
- Establish and enforce a clear governance for AI tools and use cases by implementing a structured funnel process and managing requirements of the PALFINGER AI platform
- Proactively identify high-value AI opportunities across the organization and guide/advise functions in identifying, shaping, assessing and implementing AI use case; deliver positive and high-impact AI business cases with the functions
- Build a strong AI culture across PALFINGER and drive the creation and evolution of a external partner network

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and develop the Analytics Data Platform team, shaping its architecture and roadmap within the Process and Data Management organization and fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Drive the design and scaling of our modern, cloud-based data platform on Snowflake - covering data ingestion, storage, transformation, and a governed semantic layer - and introduce cost-effective innovations such as real-time data processing.
- Establish platform standards for data modeling, data quality, security, and governance (e.g., role-based access control, data cataloging), ensuring the platform is reliable, performant, and cost-efficient.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the platform together with your team - monitoring reliability and performance, keeping an eye on cost, and continuously improving stability and automation.
- Partner with business stakeholders across the organization to align the platform with the overall strategy and enable self-service analytics and AI.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You govern the global Service process landscape, ensuring quality, consistency, lifecycle management and documentation approvals
- You own the global Service change request backlog, coordinating cross‑process input, supporting prioritization and conducting structured impact evaluations (business value, profitability, Clean Core, scalability)
- You design and maintain cross‑system roles and authorization concepts, ensuring SoD compliance and alignment with global governance standards
- You support the implementation of global process templates and operational changes, coordinate incidents and govern justified exceptions while minimizing process customization
- You coordinate Service reporting requirements, ensure end‑to‑end process KPI definitions, and act as a governance and quality gate between business stakeholders, process experts and the data & analytics organization, driving effective communication and end‑user enablement
