- As a Solution Engineer, you build IT solutions for our customers. In your role, you will focus on backups, storage, servers and virtualization.
- After successful planning, you will implement and migrate the solutions into the existing IT systems of our control centers and control center networks.
- In doing so, you always keep the individual needs of our customers in focus.
- In the first few weeks of commissioning, you will be available to our customers as a contact person and gradually hand over the systems to our support team.

- Als Solution Engineer baust du die IT-Lösungen für unsere Kunden. Dabei fokussierst du dich in deiner Rolle auf Backups, Storages, Server und Virtualisierungen.
- Nach erfolgreicher Planung implementierst und migrierst du die Lösungen in bestehende IT-Systeme unserer Leitstellen und Leitstellenverbünde.
- Dabei behältst du stets die individuellen Bedürfnisse unserer Kunden im Fokus.
- In den ersten Wochen der Inbetriebnahme stehst du unseren Kunden als Ansprechpartner*in zur Verfügung und übergibst die Systeme sukzessive an unseren Support.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, ideally in a media, data, or content-related environment
- Strong background in Domain-Driven Design (DDD), including hands-on application of methods like event storming and context mapping
- Experience in requirement engineering and stakeholder collaboration to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Degree in computer science with several years of relevant experience
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
- Experience in evaluating build-vs-buy decisions and conducting market research
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams
- Basic knowledge of software engineering, data engineering, and AI, sufficient to discuss technical feasibility with development teams
- Communicative team player with an analytical mind-set willing to take responsibility and drive topics

The main tasks are
- Technical support & customer consulting - Ensuring the error-free and efficient use of the zenon software platform
- Error analysis & troubleshooting - Independent analysis and solution of technical problems
- Optimization & analysis - Evaluation of customer projects with regard to stability and potential for improvement

RESPONSIBILITIES
- At least 4 years of experience in backend and frontend development with languages like Java, Kotlin or Typescript.
- English fluent, German is a plus
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Multi-Media, Software Engineering, Information Systems or Computer Science or some years of experience in this field
- Experience with technologies like Spring, Liquibase and different database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and Database Design.
- Experience with frontend technologies like React, NextJS or Vue.
- Proven experience in test automation and test-driven development as well as understanding of CI/CD pipelines and build tools
- Understanding of modern online application architecture concepts, such as availability, scalability, resilience, and responsiveness as well as caching strategies and API design
- Understanding of cloud technologies and state of the art SaaS products like AWS, GitHub, Datadog, Akamai or Cloudinary
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with working in virtual & mixed team organizations, including outsourced partners and vendors

- Planning and creation of electrical circuit diagrams, parts lists in EPLAN- preferably P8 and EPlan Cogineer
- Collaboration in the planning of complete electrotechnical systems
- Revision and review of existing circuit diagrams

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in the Business Intelligence area with project involvement, ideally gained as a Controller, IT Consultant, Business Consultant, Business Analyst or Requirement engineer
- Profound knowledge of system-based planning and reporting tools – ideally SAP, SAP BW, SAP BI-IP Planning, S4/HANA, Hyperion Financial Management and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Advanced level of Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills as well as project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence and Workfront
- Solid controlling/accounting background and understanding of financial processes
- Ability to understand complex processes, identify risks and find solutions
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills and the capability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders
- Strong communication and presentation skills for internal and external stakeholders
- Team player, self-motivated, goal-oriented, flexible and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

- You provide support for technical problems as part of the on-call service outside office
