We are seeking a Product Manager to act as the key interface between market needs and technical solutions. In this role, you will ensure that stakeholder requirements are translated into successful product concepts and drive strategic decisions throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with engineering, project management, and global stakeholders to deliver products that meet quality, cost, and time objectives. Your work will include competitive analysis, market intelligence, requirements gathering, and supporting product line strategy and roadmap planning. You will also play a critical role in initiating and executing product development projects, providing insights that influence decisions at every stage.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and analyse competitive products, performance, and capabilities. Communicate insights to the product development team and define countermeasures against competitive positions
- Collect and interpret the voice of the customer (VOC) and stakeholder requirements in a solution-neutral form. Support evaluation of regulatory requirements, norms, and standards. Review stakeholder requirement documents and assess scope changes during development
- Provide feedback on technical feasibility, risks, and opportunities for product portfolio planning. Support the process of maximising value proposition for individual products and the overall portfolio. Communicate product plans and strategy to ensure alignment across stakeholders
- Assist in developing business opportunity proposals and business cases during early PDP phases. Act as an interface between product development and business functions to ensure feasibility and risk assessment
- Assemble information for gate reviews and provide critical analysis for decision-making. Evaluate and communicate impacts of scope changes on technical concepts, costs, and risks
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred)
- > 3 years of professional experience in product management for complex technical products—ideally in the lifting, assembly, or commercial vehicle industry
- In-depth knowledge of product lifecycle management, portfolio management, and requirements management as well as experience with complex development projects in a phase-gate or agile environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting relationships and networks
- Fluency in spoken and written English (German skills and other languages are a plus)

Minimum yearly gross salary according to the Austrian metal industry collective agreement for employment group F is EUR 53.241,02 based on full-time employment. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we offer a significant overpayment.
