Internship Digital Workplace Engineer

The Digital Workplace & Support Squad (DSSQ) is responsible for ensuring efficient, scalable and user-centric workplace services across Red Bull Media House. Due to several parallel, large-scale initiatives, we are looking for a motivated intern starting in February/March 2026 for six months to support operational, coordination and process-driven activities within the Digital Workplace domain.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise IT application management, process optimization and cross-functional collaboration. At the same time, the role provides meaningful operational support to ensure continuity and progress across key initiatives.

We, as the Media Technology & IT department, are responsible for all media technology within the Red Bull Media House. We operate various applications and tools, from our self-developed media platform to one of the most technically advanced TV studios in Europe.

JIRA CLOUD MIGRATION PROJECTIn this internship you'll assist in the Jira Cloud Migration Project by coordinating activities, updating documentation, managing communications, and tracking tasks in a clear and organized way. This hands-on expierence will expose you to real, high-impact projects crucial to the success of an international media company.
PROCESS OPTIMIZATION & AUTOMATIONYou'll contribute to optimizing and automating processes across Digital Workplace tools such as Jira, Airtable, and Figma. These initiatives will give you a chance to innovate and boost your skills in improving efficiencies within large-scale systems.

SOFTWARE DEMAND PROCESSESYou'll support software demand processes within the Digital Workplace landscape, including GMS AI Demand and standard workflows. This involves execution, documentation, and driving continuous improvements. You'll gain valuable insights into enterprise-level tools and workflows, developing skills in stakeholder coordination and process management.
REPORTING & STAKEHOLDER ALIGNMENTYou'll support reporting and data preparation activities, while ensuring smooth alignment and communication with stakeholders within the Digital Workplace & Support (DSSQ) squad. This role will help you build your analytical and communication skills while strengthening professional relationships across different teams.
EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise
that matter most for this role:
- Enrolled student or recent graduate (Bachelor’s or master’s level) in Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Business Informatics, IT Management or a related field.
- Fluent in English, German is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and structured working style, with an interest in understanding processes and improving them.
- Ability to communicate clearly and reliably in a professional, cross-functional environment.
- Interest in Digital Workplace topics, enterprise IT collaboration tools and processes.
- Hands-on mindset with a willingness to support both operational and coordination-heavy tasks.
- Basic familiarity with tools such as Jira, Airtable, Confluence or similar systems is an advantage, but not a prerequisite.
