Tasks
- Independent support of an assigned customer portfolio via phone (MS Teams) and email
- Handling customer inquiries through a system-supported ticketing system with AI assistance
- End-to-end order processing – from order entry to on-time delivery
- Preparation of quotations and price calculations using digital tools
- Entry and maintenance of customer projects, e.g. for new product introductions
- Creation and maintenance of master data (customer and product data)
- Preparation, implementation, and follow-up of customer agreements, including complaint management
- Organization and coordination of sales support activities
- Internal point of contact for the field sales team and central interface between internal departments
- Participation in cross-functional projects

Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination of the hydraulic engineering discipline group for R&D projects on davits in the marine industry.
- Technical support of hydraulic discipline engineers, optimizing technical department processes, considering customer requirements, and international standards and regulations.
- Set up standards for main hydraulic system design and support their development, ensuring compliance with system requirements derived from relevant standards and regulations, such as functional safety.
- Support the development of cost efficient and modularized subsystems, in cooperation with the responsible partners.
- Cooperate with the hydraulic discipline engineers to ensure assigned projects meet customer and company’s objectives.

- Cooperate with the electrical discipline engineers to ensure assigned projects meet customer and company’s objectives.

- In this role, you communicate with process partners from all 12 countries and provide support on operational topics.
- Participation in various projects in the logistics environment as well as the creation of different analyses and reports complete your scope of responsibilities.

Tasks
- Documentation and verification of raw material imports, including checking import declarations and customs clearances submitted by brokers for accuracy and completeness
- Communication with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal departments
- Maintenance and management of customs-relevant master data (commodity codes, customs tariffs, origin information)
- Review and application of preferential arrangements (e.g. EUR.1, supplier declarations)
- Advising and supporting the Swiss subsidiary on customs-related matters
- Coordination and support during customs audits and internal audits
- Monitoring legal changes in customs and foreign trade law and implementing them within the company
- Optimization of customs-related processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Collaboration with purchasing, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure smooth import processes

- You will support the head of purchasing and the team lead in the group rounds.
- Certain parts of purchasing projects will be led through by you on your own responsibility.
- Coordination of all markets and various departments in the region of Central-Southern and Eastern Europe will be in your responsibility.
- Order and contract management and supplier creation cover your area of responsibilities.
