- Import & export processing and notification, including dual-use goods, monitoring of embargoed countries;
- Ensuring compliance with legal regulations (prohibitions and restrictions) and risk avoidance in day-to-day business (import/export);
- Monitoring existing and new free trade agreements and EU regulations (e.g., CBAM, F-GAS, etc.);
- Drafting current legal regulations and communicating with the relevant departments;
- Independent classification of goods in the customs tariff;
- Archiving and checking customs documents, export and connection records, preparing statistical reports;
- Support in setting up or expanding our internal customs control system;
- Communication with the relevant customs authorities and transport companies;
- Packaging planning and various packaging activities;
- Outgoing goods preparation and handling of cartons/boxes to be picked;
- Active support in all warehouse activities, e.g., marking, relocation.

Tasks
- Documentation and verification of raw material imports, including checking import declarations and customs clearances submitted by brokers for accuracy and completeness
- Communication with customs authorities, freight forwarders, and internal departments
- Maintenance and management of customs-relevant master data (commodity codes, customs tariffs, origin information)
- Review and application of preferential arrangements (e.g. EUR.1, supplier declarations)
- Advising and supporting the Swiss subsidiary on customs-related matters
- Coordination and support during customs audits and internal audits
- Monitoring legal changes in customs and foreign trade law and implementing them within the company
- Optimization of customs-related processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
- Collaboration with purchasing, logistics, and quality assurance to ensure smooth import processes

- Support in documenting and reviewing import and export processes, especially raw material imports
- Checking import declarations and customs documents for completeness and plausibility
- Assisting in communication with freight forwarders and internal departments
- Maintaining basic customs-relevant data such as commodity codes and origin information
- Supporting the recording and filing of preference certificates (e.g. supplier declarations)
- Preparing documents for internal audits and customs inspections
- Researching legal foundations in the customs field and documenting findings
- Contributing to the optimization of import/export processes
- Collaborating with purchasing and logistics to ensure accurate documentation
