RESPONSIBILITIES
- 4+ years of experience in Data Science. Previous experience working on Data Science topics in Operations / Supply Chain is a plus.
- Masters or Doctorate in relevant field, for instance: Mathematics, Operations Research, Science (including data, computer, behavioural, social, e-con, ...).
- Programming: know at least one of R, Python, SQL with the ability and willingness to learn the other two
- Data Literacy: ability to prepare datasets ensuring top quality such that essence of said data and the implications for the problem at hand can be grasped quickly
- Statistical Reasoning: theoretical and applied understanding of Stats, Probability and ML Algorithms and know how to use these tools to reduce uncertainty in a business context (regression, visualization)
- Technical Literacy: applied understanding of modern computing allows the candidate to do things which go beyond the strict definition of Data Science (git, API calls, web crawling, …)
- Presentation Skills: present coherent data stories at the appropriate level of abstraction given the audience
- Stakeholder Management: skilled at building mutually beneficial connections with functional stakeholders
- Pragmatic Critical Thinking: intuitively consider relevant costs/benefits in all decisions and act accordingly
- Outcome Driven: highly motivated to add value and to demonstrate that impact to the organization

- Independent and timely preparation, execution, and review of payroll for our employees in Germany, in compliance with all legal and company-specific regulations
- Point of contact for employees, managers, and external parties regarding payroll tax and social security matters
- Responsible for statutory reporting and certification processes, as well as communication with external authorities and institutions
- Maintenance and administration of employee master data, ensuring data quality
- Preparation of HR statistics and reports
- Support during internal and external audits (e.g., tax audits)
- Close collaboration with HR team colleagues and regular exchange with Finance and Controlling
- Participation in payroll-related projects
- Continuous development and optimization of internal processes

RESPONSIBILITIES
- 2+ years of experience in data quality, data management, or a related analytical role, with a proven ability to investigate inconsistencies and identify root causes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience in data operations, reporting, or issue management; exposure to data governance, data quality, or process management is a plus.
- Fluent, business-proficient English skills, suitable for working exclusively in an English-speaking environment and communicating clearly across all stakeholder groups.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and technical skills, including proficiency in Excel and SQL (or comparable tools), to categorize, track, summarize, and analyze data quality issues effectively.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management abilities, with experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and applying structured processes while working independently and ensuring accountability.
