- University Degree Bachelor or Master
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken), German is a plus
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the FMCG industry working with large datasets from multiple data sources (e.g., Nielsen, Circana, GFK, …)
- Good understanding of sales processes and sales data. Proven project management experience with strong external stakeholder management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment with multiple internal stakeholders
- Ability to conceptualize and explain complex concepts in a simple way
- Strong analytical ability and a strong affinity for systems

- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

- 7+ years of experience in financial controlling, operations controlling, or a related field with a focus on cost of goods sold.
- Degree in business administration with a focus on Finance/Controlling/Operations Management.
- Excellent knowledge in English, German is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on financial optimization and cost management.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as SAP, Hyperion, BI Planning, or similar systems.

- University Degree in Business Administration or Finance or IT
- Strong IT skills and technically savvy, familiarity with ERP systems or any integrated business analytics tool is an advantage (SAP - CRM, ERP (SD, FI, COPA), S4/HANA, SAC, BI or Essbase, Oracle, Salesforce, etc.)

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and lead a highly efficient and professional Group Controlling Team.
- Ensure team goals are clear, organised and structured while giving honest and fair feedback. Continuously drive efficiency and improvements across files, processes and ways of working.
- Be a sparring partner for the Team and in addition, assist, provide support and step in when required.
- Coordinate Group processes and liaise with other HQ Finance departments like Treasury and Accounting, to ensure smooth procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Programming: know at least one of Python, SQL, R with the ability and willingness to learn the other two. Snowflake or Databricks knowledge is a plus.
- FMCG Knowledge: prior experience working at an FMCG company in a data or analytics focused role a plus.
- Data Literacy: ability to prepare datasets ensuring top quality such that essence of said data and the implications for the problem at hand can be grasped quickly.
- Statistical Reasoning: applied understanding of Stats and Probability and know how to use these tools to reduce uncertainty in a business context (regression, visualisation).
- Technical Literacy: applied understanding of modern computing allows the candidate to do things which go beyond the strict definition of Data Science (git, API calls, web crawling, …).
- Presentation Skills: present coherent data stories at the appropriate level of abstraction given the audience.
- Stakeholder Management: good at building mutually beneficial connections with functional stakeholders.
- Pragmatic Critical Thinking: intuitively consider relevant costs/benefits in all decisions and act accordingly.
